Samantha Alicia Boucher

Samantha Alicia Boucher is a seasoned Audit and Risk Governance professional with over 30 years of leadership experience in the financial services sector. She currently serves as Country Chief Internal Auditor for the JMMB TT Group, where she provides strategic internal audit oversight and independent assurance across four regulated entities: JMMB Bank, Express Finance, Investments, and Securities.

Throughout her distinguished career, Samantha has demonstrated a steadfast commitment to enhancing governance frameworks, strengthening risk cultures, and leading audit transformation. She has successfully directed internal audit departments, branch operations and enterprise-wide internal audit functions across Guyana and Trinidad and Tobago.

Samantha advises and provides Board Audit and Compliance Committees and senior executives on risk-based internal audit, risk management, internal controls, and regulatory compliance. Her work ensures consistent alignment with key regulatory frameworks, including the CBTT, TTSEC, Basel, and COSO.

Her leadership is anchored in the core values of integrity, critical thinking, and sound judgment. Samantha holds an MBA in Finance and professional credentials including certification as a Fraud Risk Manager and qualifications in Internal Auditing. She brings to the Council a wealth of expertise in strategic internal audit, governance oversight, and risk advisory leadership.
