Ms. Danielle Philip is a seasoned banking professional with over 15 years of experience in the financial services industry, primarily serving Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) across the Caribbean. Ms. Philip currently holds the position of Senior Manager, Business Banking – Caribbean South & East at Scotiabank Trinidad & Tobago, where she supports SME clients and banking teams across Trinidad & Tobago, Barbados, and Guyana.

Throughout her career, Ms. Philip has led various areas of business banking, including credit underwriting, coaching, and relationship management. She is passionate about helping entrepreneurs thrive by ensuring they have access to the right financial tools, support, and guidance. 

Danielle was appointed President of the Institute of Banking and Finance of Trinidad and Tobago in May 2025, after previously serving as an Alternate Director from 2024 to 2025. Her involvement reflects her commitment to professional development and strengthening the banking community across the region.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with International Business from the University of London, Royal Holloway. Recognized for her collaborative leadership style and calm, solutions-focused approach, Danielle is committed to shaping the future of Caribbean banking—particularly by supporting small business development and promoting financial inclusion.
