Sherma Leopold

Sherma Leopold is the Head of Group Shared Services at First Citizens Bank Limited. With over 25 years of experience across the banking and public-sector environments, she leads the establishment and strategic development of the Group Shared Services function, with a focus on operational excellence, transformation, service enhancement, and sustainable business performance. She has worked closely with senior management and diverse stakeholder groups to translate strategic priorities into effective operating models, strengthen governance and accountability, and deliver improvements in organizational performance. Sherma holds a Global MBA from London Metropolitan University and is a Chartered Management Accountant (CIMA). Her breadth of academic and professional qualifications complements her practical leadership experience, enabling her to bring a multidisciplinary perspective to business transformation, financial management, organizational effectiveness, and change leadership.
