Mr. Ashwin Boodoosingh, BCom, MBA – Senior Manager, Country Sales Practices Risk
Mr. Ashwin Boodoosingh is the Scotiabank Trinidad & Tobago Limited’s representative on the IBF Council. Currently he serves as the Senior Manager, Country Sales Practices Risk, Caribbean South & East with responsibility for Trinidad & Tobago, Barbados and Guyana, a position he has held since August 2018. Ashwin has over nineteen (19) years banking experience at Scotiabank which he has spent in the Corporate & Commercial Banking and Retail & Small Business segments.
Over his career Ashwin has been instrumental in the launch of Business Banking at Scotiabank and has an extensive career in Sales & Service coaching for the Retail, Small Business and Non- Branch Sales Force business lines. He played key roles in the sustainment of the Bank’s Sales & Service standards, driving sales performance and productivity and implementation of new initiatives. In his current role Ashwin is responsible for the implementation of Scotiabank’s Enterprise Sales Conduct Framework and Global Sales Conduct Policy.
Ashwin has expertise in coaching of sales and service teams, project management, internal controls, training and development. He is an undergraduate of The University of Toronto, Rotman School of Management with a Bachelor of Commerce & Finance and has also attained a Master of Business Administration from the Heriot Watt University.
